Playground Games, the developers of the acclaimed open-world racing game Forza Horizon Rally Adventure 5, have announced the release of their second major expansion, Rally Adventure. This exciting new DLC is set to launch on March 29 and will introduce players to a host of new features and gameplay elements.
New Career Mode and Location
Sierra Nueva, the roughest and most difficult setting in Forza Horizon 5, is where Rally Adventure takes place. With this expansion, a new career mode is available, allowing players to select one of three teams, each of which has its own off-road competitions, street-style rallies, and asphalt races. Players can access the ultimate “Goliath route” by winning all three of their team’s races, which total eight per team.
New Cars and Upgrades
The upcoming expansion will offer players a range of new vehicles, such as the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum, the 1973 Hoonigan Volkswagen Baja Beetle Class 5/1600 ‘Scumbug’, and several others. Moreover, Rally Adventure will bring in new rally parts, an anti-lag system, and a launch control feature that assists all cars
Customization Options
Players will also have access to new customization options, allowing them to build the ultimate rally vehicle. Upgrades include an anti-lag race turbo that helps build up turbo for more responsive launches and launch control that can manage traction, RPM, and clutch control to optimize launch acceleration. Launch control is automatically done at the start of races, but can be activated at any time during Free Roam by holding down the handbrake and revving.
Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure Expansion Announced, Arrives in March
In addition to the Rally Adventure expansion, Playground Games has also promised a host of other post-launch content updates for Forza Horizon 5. The expansion will be included with the existing premium add-ons bundle for Forza Horizon 5.
Forza Horizon 5 fans can expect to see new upgrades and vehicle customizations in the Rally Adventure expansion, making it possible to build a rally monster. The new DLC will also introduce a new rally career mode, offering players a variety of new races and challenges to overcome.
