A recent Genshin Impact leak reveals gameplay footage of a new mysterious domain that will arrive in the upcoming version 3.6.
New Dendro Characters: Kaveh and Baizhu
A new Genshin Impact leak reveals gameplay footage of a new domain that’s confirmed to arrive in the upcoming version 3.6. Every update in the game has its beta phase which includes most of the new content including playable characters, weapons, and regions. Developer HoYoverse has already announced the arrival of two new Dendro users, Kaveh and Baizhu.
Genshin Impact Leaks Subreddit Post
A post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed a beautiful new domain that will arrive in the upcoming Genshin Impact version 3.6. Almost every new five-star unit in the game receives their own one-time domain in which players can test their powers for a short period. While most fans suspect that this domain will be tied with Baizhu’s release, others hope that it’s a permanent part of the overworld. A lot of comments have stated that it would be a shame to waste such an interesting location on a special domain that players can visit only once during their playthrough.
Connection to Irminsul and Sumeru Archon
Players also expect this location to be tied to Irminsul, a magical tree that grows deep underground and is connected to Teyvat’s Ley Lines. It’s also rumored to be the source of all Dendro powers, and the Sumeru Archon is directly connected to it. Even though recent Genshin Impact leaks revealed the next update will introduce a brand-new part of Sumeru, fans can also expect the storyline to return to the Geo region.
The Two Parts of Update 3.6
First Part – Dendro Nation Focus
According to recent rumors, the first part of the next update will introduce re-runs for Nahida and Nilou which could mean that this part of the update will be heavily focused on the Dendro nation. This means that there is a high chance that the new four-star Sumeru character Kaveh arrives on the same banner cycle.
Second Part – Baizhu’s Arrival
The second part of 3.6 will introduce the new five-star Liyue character Baizhu, who’s probably one of the most anticipated characters in the community. He made his first appearance over two years ago, but HoYoverse had to postpone his official release since at the time the Dendro element was not part of the playable roster.
Team China’s Leaked Video
A new leak from Genshin Impact has revealed the interior of a domain set to debut in the RPG’s Version 3.6 update next month, likely tied to its newest character. A new video shared by prominent Genshin Impact leaker group Team China has shown off the interior of the game’s newest domain. The domain is speculated to be connected to Baizhu’s story quest with the interior of the dungeon featuring architecture similar to that of Liyue. The inside of the domain features several mysterious crystals glowing with a purplish energy, likely tied to the plot for Baizhu’s story. The domain appears to end at a large open area with a platform in the rear, holding various pieces of equipment.
Baizhu’s Story Quest and Other Content
Baizhu’s story quest is just one of several new story additions reportedly planned for the Version 3.6 update. Previous rumors have heavily suggested the expansive Aranara questline featured in Sumeru’s early updates will be making a return in Version 3.6. The update will also introduce the previously-mentioned expansion to Sumeru’s desert, believed to grow the region to a larger size than Mondstadt and Liyue combined. Each new region of Sumeru has brought with it a major quest series, including the first desert region’s “Golden Slumber” and the second’s “Dirge of Bilqis.”
Aranara Questline and Sumeru Expansion
With Version 3.6 already having multiple pieces of content leaked, Genshin Impact has seen even more reveals from further into the game’s future. The first characters from the game’s next region of Fontaine have started to receive leaks, with characters like Lyney and Lynette having their elements revealed. Recent leaks have also shown off other unannounced characters from pre-existing regions, including Inazuma’s Kirara and Mondstadt’s Varka. The last few patches of Sumeru look to have plenty in store for players as HoYoverse gears up for Fontaine later this year.
