Privacy policy

This page describes the services integrated into the site. Tools distinguish calculations performed in your browser from checks that require a server.

Tool inputs

Tools labelled as running in your browser process their inputs locally, including password generators and JSON or JWT decoders. Network checks, such as DNS, TLS and HTTP header checks, send the requested target to the lookup service. The notice on each tool identifies this behaviour.

The server receives technical information needed to respond to requests, including the IP address and requested page. Local processing by a tool does not mean that the entire page operates without a connection.

Local preferences

Your browser may remember the theme and some tool settings in local storage. You can clear these through your browser settings.

Advertising and audience measurement

Advertising scripts are disabled. Google Analytics has also been paused since September 8, 2026. The site currently loads no advertising or audience measurement scripts.

External links, affiliation and contact

Some pages offer a video. No YouTube player or remote preview is loaded before you click the load button. That click connects to YouTube, whose privacy policy then applies to the player. You can also follow the link to watch directly on YouTube.

Following a link to a publisher, Amazon or another partner takes you to a service with its own policy. Commercial links are described in the affiliate disclosure.
